German President Mr. Joachim Gauk visits SORALUCE at the opening ceremony of EMO 2013

SORALUCE was on Monday one of the few companies chosen by the trade fair to showcase its latest developments and innovations to the President of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Joachim Gauck, after the official presentation of the EMO Hannover 2013. President Gauck was joined at the opening ceremony by the Prime Minister of Lower Saxony, Stephan Weil, the European Commissioner for Trade, Karel De Gucht and the President of Cecimo, Martin Kapp. After the opening speeches, the procession made an inaugural visit-tour passing exclusively by three industry leaders booths, and also visiting the special stand dedicated to youth.

During the visit to SORALUCE, Mr. Joachim Gauck saw in first hand the SORALUCE FXR-16000 large capacity milling-boring machine which is a highly versatile solution for heavy duty components, the SORALUCE F-MT-4000 multi-function milling and turning centre where turning, milling, boring, drilling and tapping operations are fulfilled via a single set-up on very intricate parts, the vertical turning centre VTC-3200, a machine that offers high precision and quality in turning, grinding, milling, drilling, threading and measurement operations, and the SORALUCE SL-8000 compact fixed table travelling column milling machine with a compact and ergonomic format design. In his speech, President Joachim Gauck emphasised the need to reindustrialize Europe to recover sustainable growth and stressed that within the industry, the machine-tool sector provides competitiveness, offering the most advanced solutions and production methods to the main industries in the economy. The President also highlighted the need to boost dual training to retrain the unemployed and quickly provide employers with better trained young people to meet their needs. The fair will run from 16 to 21 September, welcoming 2,030 companies from 40 countries to its installations in Hannover Messe.
