  • Danobatgroup, an industrial group specialising in the design and manufacture of machine tools and advanced manufacturing, and Fagor Automation, a benchmark in the development and manufacture of automation and machine control products, in partnership with the Mondragon Corporation, have acquired a share in the company Wooptix through a funding round.
  • Wooptix is an expert in semiconductor metrology through wavefront phase imaging, a technique derived from adaptive optics research in astronomy.

  • The Director of Innovation of the machine tool manufacturer, Nerea Aranguren, presented the Ada Byron Youth Award as a member of the jury of the awards.
  • Danobatgroup is also one of the sponsors of the awards in the framework of its strategy to boost female STEM science vocations.
  •  As part of the SORALUCE SUMMIT 2023, this morning Basque President Iñigo Urkullu Renteria inaugurated the New SORALUCE Assembly Plant at its main facility in Bergara´s Osintxu district.
  • Addressing the challenges of the sector and its desire to expand, the machine tool manufacturer intends to add a new line of milling machines to its product portfolio, the SORALUCE Performance Line, which was also presented during the event.
  • The new assembly plant was designed and built on sustainable criteria, and will have LEED Gold Certification. This means that SORALUCE will be enlarging its total manufacturing area to 30,000 m2.
  • As part of its commitment to its surroundings, SORALUCE is spearheading progress in the Osintxu district through the Osintxu Bizi project, with a multidimensional approach encompassing economic and industrial issues, town planning, environmental and human aspects. The Osintxu Bizi project is a clear example of community and collective action singled out by the Basque President to continue expansion and generate job opportunities.
  • The industrial group takes a leap forward in its international expansion strategy with the inauguration of a new centre of excellence in China, thus reinforcing the commercial and service activity it has been developing for more than 30 years in the Asian country.
  • This new facility, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, will enable Soraluce, Danobat and its subsidiaries Overbeck and Hembrug, to improve the positioning of their brands in the Chinese market.
  • Goimek, the high-precision machining company, member of the Danobatgroup, is involved in the Juice mission to explore the largest planet in our solar system together with Sener Aerospace
  • Goimek has been commissioned to manufacture the main reflector of the medium gain antenna flight model or MGAMA, as well as its auxiliary elements, to secure both the thermal stability and the radio frequency performance of the aircraft

  • The signature of the collaboration agreement between Danobatgroup and the UPV/EHU School of Engineering of Gipuzkoa took place this morning at the school´s facilities in Donostia-Sebastián.
  • Although the agreement has been made official today, this initiative has been running for a year now for students who study Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and for students who study Mechanical Engineering + Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering.
  • The industrial group is dedicating this sum to the extension and modernisation of the facilities of the Danobat, Soraluce and Goimek cooperatives in the territory according to sustainable criteria in order to respond to the new demands of the sector.
  • The investment will also focus on the acquisition of new machinery that will reinforce the value proposition of their businesses and increase their competitiveness.
  • Through this initiative, which is supported by the Basque Government through the Bilakatu programme, Danobatgroup maintains its centre of activity in the territory and reaffirms its long-term commitment to the Basque Country.
  • The industrial group has recognized an engineered solution project based on simulations, calculations, and overall drawings for a precision machine tool for oil and gas sector, developed by a group of students from the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra Tecnun
