Danobatgroup plays a major role again at the 4.0 Connected Industry Awards

The machine tool manufacturer Danobatgroup plays a major role again at the third edition of the 4.0 National Connected Industry Awards. The awards are given by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism to organisations and companies that have excelled in their drive to bring about digital transformation. The winners will be presented on October 13 in the framework of the 4th Congress of Connected Industry 4.0, to be held in Madrid. The event’s clear mission is to give a new impetus to digitisation in the post-COVID era.

The director of Innovation of Danobatgroup, Nerea Aranguren, will attend the congress as a member of the jury of these awards. This year’s guest country is France and many large corporate and institutional entities will be present, as well as the Spanish Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, the secretary General for Industry and SMEs, Raül Blanco, and the French Minister for Industry, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, among others.

Also present at the event will be the Vice Minister of Industry of the Basque Country, Mikel Amundarain, the President and CEO of ABB España, Marc Gómez, the President of Accenture Spain, Domingo Mirón, and the President of Telefonica Spain, Emilio Gayo.

This is the second time the Danobatgroup is involved with these awards, which seek to raise the awareness of companies of the need for digital transformation.

According to Aranguren “these awards are fully in line with Danobatgroup’s commitment to innovation and the application of 4.0 technologies to manufacturing processes”.

“We understand that there is a pressing need for the industrial fabric to undergo a digital revolution to ensure its competitiveness, sustainability and long-term viability, and the Connected Industry Awards 4.0 aim to drive precisely that transformation”, says the Director of Innovation of the Basque Group.
