Danobatgroup stands united to underscore its commitment to equality

• This morning, the Equality Committee of the industrial group organised an event for the first for the entire organisation to celebrate International Women's Day

The Danobatgroup cooperatives have come together today, on March 8, on the occasion of International Women's Day to reaffirm and underwrite the industrial group's collective commitment to equality.

More than 100 people of the company have participated in the event, organised by the group's Equality Committee at its headquarters in Elgoibar, marking the first occasion of an event aimed at all Danobatgroup cooperatives.

 In addition, the meeting could also be followed in streaming at the Goimek and Soraluce cooperatives, in different spaces set up for the occasion and equipped with large screens.

 During the day, the stand-up comedians Mirari Martiarena and Idoia Torregarai addressed the gender issue with humor, addressing topics linked to the coexistence and daily relationships between men and women from an egalitarian perspective.

 This initiative aligns with other actions that demonstrate the commitment of the entire group to equality, such as the implementation of equality plans in all cooperatives, the introduction of a joint diversity and equality policy started in 2023, and the establishment of a joint Equality Committee to define general guidelines in this area, activate different initiatives to promote commitment across the organisation and serve as a meeting point for sharing best practices in the realm of equality among all companies of the group.
