Danobatgroup reinforces its commitment to human capital at the Gipuzkoa Talent meeting

The business group Danobatgroup will participate in the fourth edition of the Gipuzkoa Talent meeting to draw attention to its continuous efforts in human capital development. This forum is a meeting point for Basque companies and professionals who have had to go abroad to work due to circumstances.

The event, organised by the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, will be held on 23 December in the Reale Arena of San Sebastian with the mission of attracting highly qualified professionals to the Basque Country to aid in the talent recruitment plans of Basque companies.

The manufacturer of machine tools and advanced production systems will have its own stand at the meeting, where it will also explain and highlight the strategic talent management model of the industrial group.

"Our commitment to people is embodied in a strategic talent management model based on a a people-centred culture in which the professionals themselves empower and lead their own career ambitions within the group," says Danobatgroup´s Director of Social Management, Iker Usabiaga.

In his opinion, the industrial sector faces challenges such as the digitalisation and transformation of production environments, and in these circumstances the demand for professionals with a great capacity to adapt to changes, concern for continuous learning and passion to face new challenges is naturally higher.

"Our presence at the event will allow us to broadcast the possibilities offered by our group among people who are currently working abroad, but are looking for new opportunities and are considering returning to the Basque Country", adds Usabiaga.

Within the framework of Gipuzkoa Talent, the group will interview expatriate professionals in order to establish a first contact and exchange points of view.

"The forum will serve to raise awareness of the concerns of talent working abroad and to study the possibilities of contracting possible candidates. This is an initiative in which we participate every year because it allows us to get to know interesting, dynamic profiles with a consolidated international trajectory", adds Usabiaga.

With a workforce of 1,300 and a clear vocation for innovation and overcoming technological challenges, Danobatgroup is firmly committed to people.

In the last edition of the Machine Tool Congress, held in October, the Director of Innovation of the group, Nerea Aranguren, took part in a round table discussion analysing the main challenges of talent management together with the Managing Director of Bic Gipuzkoa, Marisa Arriola, and the Director of PeopleMatters, Camila Hillier-Fry, among other participants.

During the event Aranguren explained the group´s strategy in people management, a model in which career curves can be designed around professional development and personalised itineraries, full of challenges and in constant evolution.
