  • The industrial group will have a prominent presence at five job forums organised by the state universities of the Basque Country UPV/EHU and Navarra and the private University of Deusto in the coming weeks
  • The machine tool manufacturer’s presence at these events seeks to enhance its commitment to strategic talent management

The Danobatgroup business group places people as one of the strategic axes of its activity, and in order to continue reinforcing this commitment, the grooup will take part in five job fairs and forums organised by the University of the Basque Country, the University of Navarra and the University of Deusto in the coming weeks.

Specifically, the manufacturer of machine tools and advanced production systems will participate on 16 February between 14:30 and 18:30 on the Company Day, an event that will be held in the Gipuzkoa School of Engineering of the Basque University.

During the event, the group will give talks when it will have the opportunity to explain to the attendees the organisation´s strategic management talent model, as well as the advantages of working in a strongly internationalised group with a clear vocation for technological innovation and development. The encounter will also be used to collect CVs from the attendees and to make a first contact with them.

A day later, 17 February, Danobatgroup will attend the Employment and Company Presentation Day, JEPE2022, organised by the Basque University in the San Mamés stadium in Bilbao.

At this event, which will take place from 9:30 to 14:00, Danobatgroup will have its own stand where the members of the group’s Social Management department will be able to exchange points of view with the students and graduates from the school, as well as receiving their CVs and conducting interviews for the different companies of the industrial group; Danobat, Soraluce, Goimek and Latz.

On 22, 23 and 24 February, Danobatgroup will participate in the two virtual forums taking place. Moreover, on the 22nd and 23rd, the group will have a prominent presence at the virtual forum of Tecnun, the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra. While on the 23rd and 24th, the Employment and Entrepreneurship Virtual Forum of the University of Deusto will take place, with the aim of enhancing the links between the University community and business.

Danobatgroup will share the company´s value proposal at the meetings, as well as the evolution that the industrial manufacturing sector is undergoing with digital technologies, and the type of profiles that it needs to incorporate to address the smart factory revolution of the future.

Finally, on 3 and 4 March, the group will again participate in another job event again organised by Tecnun, but this time in person, with the aim of making the students aware of the reality and challenges of the machine tool manufacturer.

Through its participation in these meetings, the group seeks to continue enhancing its commitment to human capital and the strategic management of talent.

“The industrial manufacturing sector is going through important changes with the emergence of the new technologies. New professionals are required capable of addressing the challenges that the digitalisation of production environments pose. For us, encouraging relationships with young people that are completing their studies is a natural step that is part of our commitment to people. We want them to understand our business model, a model that places our professionals at the centre of the strategy, so that they themselves lead their own career”, concluded the director of Social Management of Danobatgroup, Iker Usabiaga.
