Danobatgroup rewards research talent in the classroom

  • The industrial group has recognized an engineered solution project based on simulations, calculations, and overall drawings for a precision machine tool for oil and gas sector, developed by a group of students from the School of Engineering of the University of Navarra Tecnun
  • The 4 finalist teams presented their proposals to the jury on Tuesday at an event held at IDEKO Research Center
  • The awards are part of the Danobatgroup and Tecnun alliance to strengthen the link between the academic and professional spheres

    • The industrial group will be present at the Master Recruting Day and Job Fair organised by Tecnun - University of Navarra (UNAV) in February and March, respectively

Danobatgroup earmarks around 1 million euro to strengthen its commitment to the environment

  • The industrial group is setting up a network of more than 2,500 solar panels at the Danobat, Soraluce and Ideko plants
  • The plan will yield some 15 to 18% of the electricity of the total consumption, which amounts to 5,000 megawatts per year between the companies of the group
  • The investment forms part of the group´s modernisation of its facilities and commitment to renewable energy sources

Danobatgroup strengthens its commitment to female scientific talent

  • The industrial group took part in the Ada Byron Awards ceremony for Women Technologists 2022, awarded by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Deusto, which took place this morning in Donostia, Spain


  • In particular, the machine tool manufacturer´s Innovation Director and member of the jury of the awards, Nerea Aranguren, presented the Ada Byron Youth Award.


  • Danobatgroup is also one of the sponsors of the awards as part of its strategy to promote female STEM science vocations
